Hard Rock ~ Heavy Metal Continued!
Puddle of MuddThe first of the Rock concerts I have gone to during the year 2004. This concert was a last minute opportunity and I didn't have time to make a special outfit, just threw on one of my running around outfits with minimal makeup and hauled ass to the concert. Forever Heavy Metal's

Douglas (Doug) Ardito (bass) was very down to earth and friendly. All the band members were pleasant to meet and talk with.
Greg Upchurch (drums) shown above with WildChild is from Kingston, OK. Follow this link for some biographical information on the band's official web site. I apologize for originally misidentifying Greg's picture. Many thanks to Puddle of Mudd fans Kate and Lisa for setting us straight and also being patient with my confusion. My apologies also to Paul Phillips of Puddle of Mudd who I cross identified with Greg.
Wesley (Wes) Scantlin (vocals/guitar). I just caught up with him after the show and he was nice enough to talk to me briefly and let me take a picture of him with me for my web site, Puddle of Mudd is just as great sounding on stage as they are on a CD with all the advantages of a recording studio. They had the audience really with them, singing along with most of their songs, especially "She Fucking Hates Me"! Smile Empty Soul was the opening band and they were excellent. I didn't get to meet them or get any pictures with them but I did get a guitar pick. I just wasn't able to get pictures of the bands performing as I wasn't tall enough to do so, even though I was close to the stage. Maybe next time! Copyright 2002 by WildChild the Original
