Hard Rock ~ Heavy Metal Continued!
Motley CrueMy night to remember with Motley Crue! I finally got to see another Motley Crue concert and meet my favorite band of all time. I had a hard time getting my platinum ticket and had to purchase a fan club membership for a friend so I could use his credit card and pay him back as my card didn't want to work. Unfortunately I didn't have the time to design and make a special costume because I was still busy caring for my mother. But all in all it all came together finally and I had a great time. The day of the concert everything started off really hectic and I felt like everything was a rush. Couldn't decide what to wear so I wore this outfit that I previously wore in the skit I made up as my version of Joan Jett's Bad Reputation for the show we did at Solid Gold. Then had to decide on makeup. Running out of time, I used just a few wild flames. Then off to the concert we go! Had to meet Margarite at 4:30. She was the photographer for our pictures with the Crue and also our guide for the tour of the arena before meeting the band. She was a very sweet lady. After the tour and being shown to our seats, we were taken to a curtained off area to meet the band. Finally the guys came in and everybody cheered. It took a while for everyone to meet the Crue and get their pictures taken as the most platinum tickets were sold for this event of all of the tour so far, due to a lot of the platinum ticket holders in Tampa coming back for seconds (I can completely understand why). Although we were kind of rushed, it was very interesting meeting Vince and the Crue and I found the conversation was both pleasant and intriguing. Then the concert began and, let me tell you, it was My kind of show. Those that came to see the show got a Show like I remember the Crue. It was great seeing the Crue perform as only the Crue can! It was a night to remember and one I personally won't forget. I'm really looking forward to seeing the Crue perform in Jacksonville again. After all these years, Vince and the Crue still rock my world. Rock on Guys, Rock on. Forever Heavy Metal's
